Echo — Privacy Policy

Echo is a 21-questions game. We collect only what's needed to run the game and keep your sessions on your account. We show no ads, use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and never sell your data.

What we collect

• Your gameplay — the answers you give during a session and the portrait Echo writes from them, so you can revisit your sessions. In the self-portrait mode these answers are personal reflections about you; treat them as you would any personal note.
• An account identifier — if you play anonymously, a random identifier generated on your device; if you Sign in with Apple, a one-way hashed identifier derived from Apple. We never receive or store your real name or email.

What we do not collect

No name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos, health data, or advertising identifier. No cross-app or cross-site tracking. Your answers are never used to build an advertising profile.

How we use it

Only to operate the game: run your session, generate and store your portrait, and let you return to past sessions on your account.

Where it is stored

On Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider, processing the data on our behalf. Sessions are sent over encrypted connections.

Your choices

You can play entirely anonymously without signing in. You can delete your account and everything tied to it at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, or by emailing us — this removes your sessions, answers, and portraits.

Children

Echo is not directed to children under 13 and collects no personal information beyond what is described above.
